Supporting the Troy Historic Village
Volunteer Opportunities
Active members energize the Society, enable the THS to operate the Troy Historic Village, ensure outstanding public programs, and provide funding for new projects. Participation in the Society also gives members a chance to discover their own family heritage and ways to preserve it for their descendants.
We welcome and encourage you, an individual, a family, or a business to join the Troy Historical Society to help preserve the light for future generations.
Volunteers participate in operating the Village and in the following projects sponsored by the Society:
- Heritage Plan
- Antiques & Collectibles Appraisal Fair
- Society/Village Sponsored Events
- Genealogy
- Village Store
- Membership Growth
- Newsletter (Village Press)
You can volunteer to assist with Society activities and the operation of the Troy Historic Village by using the Volunteer Application link below. Print and complete the application, and mail to the address shown on the application. You will be contacted about volunteering.
Volunteer Application
The committee structure of the Troy Historical Society is being changed to meet the challenge of assuming management and operation of the museum. If you have a specific skill we might use, or would be interested in serving on a Board of Trustees committee, please email us at info@troyhistory.org. - Please include "THS" in the subject line.
